Priority will be given to individual artists, presenters, scholars or small groups. 

Applicants must be European nationals or long-term residents. 

A record of artistic or scholarly achievement must be appended to the application. 

A dissemination and promotion plan, which should involve a Europe-based institution (cultural centre, theatre, art gallery, museum, publisher, periodical, university etc.) must be included in the application. 

The economic viability of a project must be demonstrated by submitting a balanced budget. 

Successful applicants must undertake to complete their project within one to two years of being awarded the grant.
